Question:
Since Auskey is about to expire end of March2020 and replaced by ATO Online Service, do we still need the Auskey for LodgeIT?
The reason of my question is because with ATO online service we now can open ATO portal in any computer. But Auskey is stuck in one computer only (not the USB one). That means we can only lodge tax with LodgeIT in a computer where there is Auskey in it, correct?
Will there be any replacement for Auskey in LodgeIT?
I'm thinking about getting different computers in different locations since Auskey is replaced.
Answer:
Users no longer require AusKey to access LodgeiT. Previously, they used AusKey to access ATO Access Manager and add us as their software provider. Now, they must log in using MyGovID instead of AusKey.
