Issue

Why Is My Lodged TTR Still Outstanding?

The 2024 TTR has been successfully lodged through LodgeiT, but the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) is still displaying the return as Outstanding.

Cause

This issue can occur when the ABN and/or TFN recorded in the TTR form do not match the details configured in the Organisation Settings within LodgeiT.

When the identifying information submitted to the ATO differs from the information stored in the LodgeiT profile, the lodgment status may not be correctly linked and reflected by the ATO.

Resolution

  1. Open the lodged TTR form in LodgeiT.
  2. Review the ABN and TFN entered in the return.
  3. Navigate to Organisation Settings.
  4. Verify that the ABN and TFN in the Organisation Settings exactly match the details entered in the TTR form.
  5. Correct any discrepancies found.
  6. Once the details are aligned, monitor the lodgment status or contact support if the issue persists.

Important

The ABN and TFN used in the TTR form must be identical to the ABN and TFN configured in the Organisation Settings to ensure the ATO can correctly identify and update the lodgment status.

Note: If the details do not match, the ATO may continue to show the return as outstanding even though the lodgment was submitted through LodgeiT.
