Error: CMN.ATO.AS.EM0001 - Lodfement failed
What it means
This error is generated as an ATO system validation issue during lodgment. It usually means the lodgment was not successfully processed by the ATO.
Common Reasons:
1. There may be a delay or timeout when communicating with the ATO systems. Sometimes the ATO still receives and accepts the lodgment, but the confirmation does not get back in time.
> Please check the ATO portal to see if the form status shows "Lodged."
> If it is lodged on the portal, you can mark the form as lodged in LodgeiT to resolve this.
2. The ATO sometimes restricts creating amendments for this BAS form directly through the system.
What to do next:
1. The preferred option is to contact the ATO directly by phone and ask for advice. They may instruct you to manually create and submit an amendment. Once you have the manual amendment details, LodgeiT can lodge it for you.
2. Alternatively, LodgeiT can create a support case on the ATO portal on your behalf, but this process can take up to 2 weeks.

- Australian Business Number (ABN)
