"Teams" is a setting wherein you may customize and manage your member/user's access, this can be accessed via gear wheel (main setting of your business).
LodgeiT allows multiple users to access and work on tax returns simultaneously.
This promotes collaboration and enhances communication between team members, which can improve overall productivity and efficiency. The Owner/Admin can assign a team member to a specific client/s to work via "Assignee"

Access
This "Access" refers to granting user/team members the appropriate permissions and responsibilities within the system. It is part of the general Team settings, where you can invite members and manage team roles and permissions. Learn more here

Owner. Full access to the organisation, its data, settings, teams and billing. Can see all private clients, regardless the client's team and access settings.
Admin.Full access to the organisation, its data, settings and teams. Can see all public clients as well as private clients they are assigned to.
Member.Can see all public clients as well as private clients they are assigned to.
Outside Collaborator. Can only see clients they are assigned to.
Team
By customizing Owners and Other Assignee, you can improve workflow efficiency, maintain confidentiality, and better manage client assignments within your practice.
Adding one or more members to a specific team or group, ie if there is certain client that you want it to be handled privately by a specific Team or Group.


Once the team is set up, you can assign it to the client who will be responsible for managing that customer.
The illustration below shows that the client “Pinkay Ph” is a private access client, assigned under the “Accountant” team.

This means that other members of the firm will not have access to “Pinkay Ph” due to the applied restriction, except the "Assign Members" (Accountant Team" and the Client Owner.
